Planet City (inspired by Liam Young) was a sustainable design and making project designed to showcase the effects of climate change on a dystopian city with the prospect of a ‘History walker’, someone who would educate citizens on past mistakes made and how to avoid them in the future. Our character was inspired by pollution caused by oil rigs, thus we named him Roman Riggs. Roman Riggs was the entitled CEO of a large oil company that had done irreparable damage to earth and in the evolution of Planet City, was imprisoned for his crimes against the environment. He is forced to walk the streets, chin held up by a crane so he cannot hide and hands out, weighed down by chains.
He wears a suit and tie underneath a cape made to resemble oil and his crimes. [All items sourced sustainably]
